The snap clip option for this item uses the stronger 1 1/2" clip. The 1 3/4" pinch (alligator) clip option is covered in coordinating ribbon (top and hinge only) and extends slightly past the edges of this Fuzzi. We use EcoFi polyester felt which is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (e.g. soda bottles) - great for the environment AND your Karma! Our Felt Fuzzies are hand made and stored in a pet/smoke free facility in the USA. Edges of all our Felt Fuzzies are treated to prevent excess "fuzziness" and to make it more durable. Every Fuzzi is unique and hand made, so they may vary slightly from the photo.
